For almost 120 years, residents and businesses in Bordentown and the surrounding townships have trusted the law firm of Wells & Singer to do great work at a reasonable price - and for almost 120 years, the law firm of Wells & Singer has been getting the job done.

The firm was started in 1901 by a young attorney named Harold B. Wells on 101 Farnsworth Avenue, less than a mile from its current location with a focus on residential real estate and local area businesses. The firm has moved a few times, always staying on or very near Bordentown’s main street, Farnsworth Avenue.

Harold B. Wells went on to become a Justice on New Jersey’s Court of Errors & Appeals, the highest court in the State. The firm would go on to be run by the descendants of Justice Wells, who themselves would go on to become some of the most renowned attorneys and judges in New Jersey legal history: Harold B. Wells, Jr., Harold B. Wells III, and William H. Wells.

Jonas Singer runs the firm today. Jonas joined the firm as an associate right out of law school in 1979, became a partner three years later in 1982, and has been at Wells & Singer ever since. This firm has always been like a family, and they make their clients feel the same way.
